Why would I buy a used laptop when I can buy a new one?
There are several reasons for buying a refurbished laptop – Number one is the price – Starter used laptops supplied by Hutchinson IT save you at least £200+ on new prices. Secondly our peace of mind 3 month warranty on all used laptops, PCs and Netbooks. Finally it ensures you do your bit for the environment as you are able to recycle a laptop rather than buying a new one.
How long does a laptop take to be delivered?
We offer free delivery to the UK and Ireland direct to your door. Delivery is express within 2-3 working days.
What is the Returns Policy?
Hutchinson IT offers a 3 month Return To Base Warranty on all Refurbished laptops and PC's. The buyer pays any return postage. Items must be packaged properly and returned to: Hutchinson IT, 58A Drumagarner Road, Kilrea, Co Londonderry. Please contact us before returning the item as some problems can be fixed remotely. If the item is returned we will aim to repair and return to you within one week. If the item cannot be repaired then we will replace with an equal or greater spec.
What is covered under the Warranty?
Issues covered under warranty: Hard Drive, Ram, Motherboard (Excluding DC Jack), Fan, Charger
Issues Not covered under warranty: Battery, DC Jack, Cracked Screen

How long have you been carrying out Pc and laptop repairs?

How long will my repair take?
Hutchinson IT offers a rapid repair service. The average repair of a laptop, PC, or Netbook usually takes 3 working days. Motherboard repairs and DC Jack repairs can take 7-10 working days.
My laptop screen is broken – Is it worth fixing?
In general Yes! This answer really depends on the age and condition of laptop. Provided the motherboard isn’t damaged and your laptop is less than 4-5 years old then it is worth contacting us! Get a Quote here!
My laptop won’t turn on and won’t charge – What’s wrong?
The most common issue can be a DC jack becoming loose – This is where you plug the charger into your laptop. Another issue may be a faulty charger, or battery issue. Please contact us for a quote.
